My journey with photography started with connection.

I thought it a way to connect family and friends to the places they may never go, along trails they may never see. I wanted to bring home that taste of excitement which rises with each step on an unknown path…or the echoing silence under a blanket of stars.

What started as a desire to connect with others, became a doorway to connect with myself. Whether focusing on the rush of a lazy river or a peaceful tree-lined path, I found opportunity for introspection. I began to see the outside-world as symbolic reflections, while exploring my own inner landscape.

As a result, uncovering the beauty of the world around me, I found the beauty of life itself.
